L'Shanah Tovah!

It’s Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, today. Traditionally, Rosh HaShanah is viewed as the birthday of the world. If the Sages are right, Earth is 5768 today!

Congratulations, Earth! Oh sure, she’s not as young as she once was, and maybe she isn’t turning as many heads as she did back in her 800s, but Wow! What a planet!

She’s still very independent. She still drives herself everywhere—loves going on long trips (around the sun); still works in her garden; gets up every morning for spin aerobics; and loves meeting friends and family for dinner; and she still loves to go out dancing!

L'shanah tovah! To a good year!

Maybe the '(around the sun)' was a little redundant? Give your readers a little credit.

On second thought, that's probably a bad idea.
