Labor Day; Allen's Brain Goes on Strike

In solidarity with the working men and women that are the backbone of our society, Allen's brain has taken up a sign with a catchy slogan ("Gray Matters!") and joined a picket line somewhere. The downside of this is that this blog's author (a very generous term) is a non-union worker. The result of this is that today's blog is laboring under the specious title of "It Came From!"--a title which sounds a bit like a William Castle or Roger Corman film.

Speaking of B-movies, this has to be either the coolest or the cheesiest idea for a toy I have ever seen! Oh, why choose one or the other? It's definitely both!

Each of these plastic figures is 2 1/2 to 3 inches tall, and characterize perfectly the actions of the bad actors in low budget monster movies of the 50s & 60s. Better yet, you can use these to turn anything into a monster! Even the friendly-looking Cell-Phone Holder Man with realistic bubble-wrap biceps!
