This will be in several parts to make it easier to digest, but I'll release them all today.
The extended metaphor is fueled by Scripture texts like Rom 13:12-14; Gal 3:26-27; Eph 4:22-5:2; Col 3:1-17; and just about any movie Bela Lugosi ever made. I heard his voice in my head when I was writing Salvish's dialogue.
