The challenge issued!

In my teen Sunday School class, we discussed the wise and foolish builders from the end of Matthew 7. If hearing and practicing Jesus' words correlates to a solid foundation in life, then one of the best ways to prevent foundational erosion is to internalize some Scripture daily and put it into practice. So... I challenged my guys (it's an all male class) to read a chapter of the New Testament each weekday this week. I told them I'd give them the weekends off and they could skip the genealogies. 1 week. 5 chapters of Matthew. That's the challenge. Discussion to follow next Sunday. It's do-able, and they seemed amenable to it. I figure I'll tag them around Wednesday and see how that's going.
