With no camp to go to this week or prepare for, I must choose some alternative activities. Perhaps I'll . . .
-Alphabetize my necktie collection. (when you're but a brain in a jar, it's not like you wear them or anything.)
-Announce my Olympic Games winner picks with semaphore.
-Try to set the world record for consecutive hours playing the Quiet Game.
-Assemble a makeshift shelter entirely of used sweetener packets.
-Take up performance art. First piece: My tax dollars playing in a sprinkler.
-Recruit more ninja-trained raccoons.
-Kill a few hours in the library by picking out a book, bringing it to the desk, and asking the librarian "How much for this one?" "No, that's too expensive. I'll get a different one." Repeat til the librarian throws me out. Go to another library . . .
-Call up every toy company I can think of and pitch them my idea for the "Little Undertaker" dress up and play set.
-Clean out my neighbor's refrigerator.
-Make more to-do lists.
