This Sunday, Nov 16th, starting at noon-ish, the folks at Cornland Christian Church are celebrating keeping the same preacher for 10 years. There's lunch, cake & punch, embarrassing pictures and (hopefully) an exchange of the most humorous/embarrassing Allen stories you have. You--and anyone else you think is insane enough to be interested--are invited.
If you can't make it (as I know some of you won't be able to), but you have a favorite embarrassing story about the weird collection of carbon atoms called "Allen's Brain," please reply to this post with said items.
-Allen's Brain's Left Hemisphere
(since he never was in his right mind.)

P.S. We've been telling Allen that we're gonna roast him, and he thinks that means we're gonna tell jokes about him. In reality, we're burning him at the stake. Shhh! Don't tip him off!

Hey, congrats. I'd attend if it weren't a 7 hr drive (I actually checked).
Enjoy the day. And expect major roasting.
Yeah, I figured most folks in the B'sphere would be too far away to make it in, but it cracks me up that you checked.
I, too, hope that there'll be plenty of fun at my expense. I hate being the (honored) center of attention.
Yeah, major drive time here as well. (Google says 11 plus hours.) Have some cake for me. That's an amazing commitment to lead... Hmm... "another is building upon [this foundation.] But each one must be careful how he builds upon it, for no one can lay a foundation other than the one that is there, namely, Jesus Christ." (First Corinthians, Chapter 3) Many happy returns of the day!
Congratulations on your upcoming roast.
One good turn deserves another, and you'll be done to a turn!
I'm sorry I can't make it there, but I'll be imagining you on the spit!
Alas, for Google saith the journey dost take nine and twenty hours, or counteth the miles 1,948.
Have a good time.
